Wilmington Grammar School for Boys is situated in the north of Kent just on the outskirts of Greater London.
The School is well placed for all transport links by road and rail to London, Gatwick Airport and both Folkestone and Ashford for Eurotunnel and Eurostar trains to Europe. Wilmington Grammar School for Boys is a matter of minutes drive to the A2 motorway and less than 10 minutes from both the M25 motorway (that circles London) and Bluewater, the leading shopping and leisure destination in Europe with over 330 stores!
London is simple to reach and you can catch trains from either Dartford or Bexley stations - both a few minutes by car from the school. From London, you can also catch the Gatwick Express from Victoria Station. The high-speed, non-stop service takes 30 minutes and departs every 15 minutes.
From Waterloo Station in London, you can catch Eurostar trains to Europe. These also stop at Ashford where there is ample parking and is approximately an hours drive from the School.

Required for September 2008 an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join a successful Mathematics department. Applicants must be qualified to teach to GCSE and A Level and the ability to teach a second subject would be preferred but is not an essential requirement. Experienced teachers and NQTs are both warmly invited to apply. The department offers Mechanics, Statistics and Decision Making along with Pure Mathematics at AS and A2 Levels and is accommodated in a suite of fully resourced teaching rooms. Wilmington Grammar School for Boys is a popular, over-subscribed 11-18 Specialist Engineering School with a Sixth Form of over 200 students. Approximately 50% are studying an A Level in Mathematics.
