TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS

(There is also a second Mathematics post available as a maternity cover)

We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic and inspiring teachers of Mathematics: one permanent full-time post from September 2010; one maternity cover from October 2010. The posts would be equally suitable for an experienced teacher or for an NQT, but passion for the subject and the desire to inspire students are important. The ability to teach Mathematics at A level is essential, as demand for this subject is increasing. The school has redesignated as a Science with Mathematics specialist school. There may be an opportunity for a reduced timetable, for the maternity post.

Maidstone Grammar School for Girls is a very successful selective girls’ school of 1210 students with a mixed sixth form of 320.
