Education & Recreation - the largest service
of Aberdeenshire Council - delivering excellence.
Employing 2,790 full-time equivalent teachers
and 1,483 full-time equivalent non-teaching staff
in schools, our Education & Recreation service
is responsible for all aspects of pre-school and
school provision, and for the delivery of lifelong
learning and recreation across Aberdeenshire. (That’s
2,500 square miles of glorious playgrounds, covering
mountains and sea, in which our employees can thrive
and enjoy flourishing careers.)
We welcome applications from suitably qualified
Primary and Secondary teachers from Northern Ireland
and the Republic of Ireland. There are convenient
airlinks from Ireland to Aberdeen Airport with
low cost airlines and we offer a generous relocation
package of up to £5,400 (where appropriate)
